Main Drive (Gear) – Main gears are visually inspected to meet KAR standards.

Clutch & Brake – Clutch and brake assemblies are tested and inspected to KAR standards.

Press Control – All KAR presses are fitted with the new Komatsu Press Control System. New operator control T-stand included.

Hydraulic Overload – Komatsu Hydraulic Overload Protection System is tested and qualified.

Bolster Service – Reground top working surface of bolster.

Physical Frame – Cracked frames do not qualify for a KAR press.

Flywheel Accuracy – Visually inspected for cracks. Run-out checked to KAR standards.

Parallelism – Parallelism and perpendicularity checked to KAR standards.

Lubrication System – Tested under power to ensure reliable operation.

Machine Clearances – Drive and gib clearances inspected to meet superior KAR standards which surpass most used equipment.
